Discover your passion for coaching

Do you have what it takes to inspire players to Play Football!

Coaching a football team can be one of the most rewarding experiences to have in football and with the upcoming outdoor season approaching, Football Federation Australia is calling on new and experienced coaches to join the football family.

As a coach you’ll help shape the next generation of footballers, form lifelong bonds with your squad, and build their character and skills.

Taking charge of a football team means giving back to the sport you’re passionate about, continuing your pathway towards becoming a better coach, and helping both your club and community.

It’s a sentiment shared amongst coaches at all levels of the game. Current coach of the Socceroos Ange Postecoglou sees coaching as a continuation of playing.

“For me it’s an extension of my passion for the game.

“Obviously from a very young age being involved in football, coaching sort of extended that to another space where the love I have of the game I can share with others.”

Whether it be boys or girls, men or women, outdoor football or indoor futsal, coaching is an opportunity to nurture the health and wellness of those participating.

If you’re interested in becoming a role model who will create a positive, fun environment for a team of footballers, contact your local club today and ask about how you can become a coach.
