FFA and our Member Federations are committed to making football accessible to all Australians, regardless of their backgrounds, abilities and socio-economic status. A key focus of this commitment is to work with the football community on supporting associations and clubs to be able to cater for those who for various reasons have difficulty in participating in football. These groups include but are not limited to Indigenous Australians, people with a disability as well as individuals and groups who have recently arrived and settled in Australia.
FFA strongly recommends Associations, Zones and Clubs visit the ‘Play by the Rules’ website to further understand how to work towards becoming more inclusive and accessible.
