What makes your football club unique?
Grassroots football clubs in Australia are run and supported by a variety of people and environments. Here's a sample of what makes some clubs unique:
"It is the 40th year of our club. 400 roo-ballers and 400 junior and senior players want to see Australia in the top 4 teams left in the World Cup"
"our association has 1200 kids from under 6s to 18s with all games having game leaders and under 12s and up having centre refs and AR1s and AR2s and is totally run by volunteers."
"in five years we have doubled in size to over 300 players, 38% registering online with MyFootballClub in 2010"
"uniting students and community members from six of the seven continents in the most wonderful blend of different world cultures and playing styles."
"we are one of the few women's only clubs in Victoria, run by women for women"
"the young children and families are our future, football's future"
"the committee and all involved play in our sides. This gives us the edge on and off the field
"we work closely with social services and centre for multiculturalyouth to facilitate the inclusion of players from nearby housing estates"
"with over 100 registered players, no player has ever received a yellow or red card"
"responsible for securing a national league in this country... being the sole signing club in the orignial NSL"
